Job description
Working within a small team, this role collaborates with IT Operations Lead, business stakeholders and external vendors. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with Fractional CIO on departmental objectives. This role will be hybrid, onsite presence 2-3 days per week, or as role requires. Out-of-hour working may be required., The Application Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's suite of business applications. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal users and external application vendors, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across platforms such as Sage X3, SEI, Magento, and others. The position also supports user training, documentation, and the deployment of AI strategies to improve operational efficiency. The Application Support Engineer plays a key role in enabling business users to leverage technology effectively, ensuring that applications are optimized to support core business processes and growth., * Ensure appropriate support and maintenance of Sage X3, SEI, Magento/e-link, Datalinx, Netstock SIA, Lobster, and Mapadoc EDI and smaller supported applications.
- Liaise with Wavenet, Mysoft, Certipro, SPS, and Nectari for issue resolution and updates
- Lead upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects
- Coordinate training programs and materials to support user engagement
- Support the implementation of AI tools and strategies
- Ensure documentation is updated and available for users and first-line support teams

- % of time business-critical applications are available
- Average time to resolve application-related support tickets
- Feedback scores from internal users post-training or support interactions
- % of application projects delivered on time and within scope
- Number of AI-enhanced processes deployed and their impact
- % of users completing training programs
Pay: £26,000.00 per year

Requirements
