Job description
This role is responsible for providing expert-level operational support, administration, and optimisation of Azure IaaS and PaaS environments. The successful candidate will ensure a secure, compliant, resilient, and well-governed cloud estate by managing Azure infrastructure, implementing security remediation, supporting application and database services, and maintaining adherence to organisational and security compliance frameworks., * Manage Azure infrastructure (compute, network, storage, databases).
- Maintain CAF-aligned Landing Zones.
- Improve security using Defender for Cloud and compliance frameworks (CE+).
- Monitor, patch, and support cloud workloads and application Servers.
- Manage identity via Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Support SQL Server/Azure SQL and workload migrations.
- Drive automation and cost optimisation.
Requirements
- 5+ years Azure infrastructure experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS, security, networking, and automation.
- Experience with Defender for Cloud, Landing Zones, and migrations.
- Knowledge of SQL, Windows Server, and Azure monitoring tools.
