Job description

Your job will be highly flexible and variable. You will be an internal support service for the company, supporting everything from C-level to operations, from Product & Development to Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. We need someone who can vibe-code to get quick results, but also understand what they're building and can properly understand & maintain it. Someone who's careful enough to trust around production systems.

Here's a list of all the different tasks your team is responsible for. We expect you to be able and willing to do at least 4 out of these 5.

Devops: Systems & Scripting

  • Writing scripts to do data migrations, data analysis and other DB-related tasks
  • Supporting developers by logging into servers and setting up / maintaining things

Revops: Sales Automation

  • Integrations between internal tools for automation
  • Integrations with external tools for revops (data gathering)
  • Integrations for the purpose of gathering data & report automation
  • Data gathering & combination on things like product usage metrics, funnel metrics, …

IT: Systems, Licensing, Networking

  • Maintaining & upgrading existing systems (internal IT/Infrastructure)
  • Helping to govern internal security on all attack vectors
  • Help rolling out new technologies (AI and others) across the company
  • Manage software, licenses, on-site network, and liaise with vendors

CS: Second-line tech support & integrations

  • Helping set things up like AD Sync, DNS, and such, coordinating with customers to help them in technical topics (and only in technical topics)
  • Building integrations with customer infrastructure tools using N8N, JavaScript, APIs, and potentially other tools
  • No, you will not become first-line CS, this is not a bait-and-switch (some of these jobs are)

Project Management

  • Weighing in on OPS and cross-department projects
  • Help liaise between departments
  • Follow up on key deadlines and stakeholders

If that is not variety, I don't know what is! We don't expect you to do ALL of these things on day one, but you'll join the existing team and be given a mentor that will teach whatever you lack today. Together, you can distribute tasks equitably within the team. In essence, the operations team is the oil that greases the gears, making the company run smoothly, addressing the problems that are important to fix, but hard to find the time for.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with linux & bash
  • Ability to understand formats like JSON & XML
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript & CSS
  • Willingness to speak with customers face to face, ability to understand their problems and deliver on what they need in a reliable and efficient way
  • Ability to self-organize and get things done quickly in an environment where many are counting on your support
  • Great at critical thinking, logical reasoning, but also at explaining, understanding, and listening
  • Must be patient with others and adept at building and maintaining good professional relations
  • Must-have: live in Belgium, able to visit the office (in Zaventem) once per two weeks
  • Bonus points for speaking Dutch & English

Experience required:

  • Some form of technical education (at least 6 months) and experience with those technologies
  • This is an entry-level position with high flexibility and autonomy
  • Professional experience in similar or adjacent role can be a bonus, but is not a requirement

Benefits & conditions

  • An industry-standard wage
  • Meal vouchers, group insurance, home-office allowance, …
  • A company car & fuel card or mobility budget
  • Work remotely 90% of the time
  • An open culture with friendly faces and a can-do attitude
  • Great guidance and opportunities for a young fast learner

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent contract

Pay: €2.500,00 - €3.000,00 per month
