Data Engineering Analyst

A technology consulting firm is seeking a Data Engineering Analyst to join their team on an international project. You will analyze and drive the migration of existing applications, develop data pipelines using Azure technologies, and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth delivery. The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of experience, solid programming skills in Python and R, and strong knowledge of Azure Cloud. This hybrid role is based in Spain, with flexible remuneration and a focus on professional growth., * Analyse and drive the migration of existing applications to Databricks Apps.

• Define the best technical approach for transforming current solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate code migration and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Act as a technical point of contact, providing guidance and support.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.

• 4-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks environments.
• Proven experience in application migration projects.
• Solid programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience working with RShiny and/or Shiny for Python.
• Knowledge of data architectures, databases, and serverless solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
