Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The role of Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is to support the Head of IT Operations in the smooth day to day running of the IT infrastructure. You will have 4 direct reports and you will report into the Head of IT Operations. You will act as the primary escalation point for technical queries from the service desk to assist in resolving customer incidents in line with SLAs. Incident resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools, as well as providing in-person, hands-on help at desktop level.

Within this fast-paced environment, you will need to receive, prioritise, document and actively resolve customer requests whilst striving to deliver the highest level of customer service.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Team management experience
• Significant experience in a hands-on IT support role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
