Job description
Strategic Execution: Define scope with stakeholders, develop comprehensive resource plans, and mitigate risks to ensure milestone adherence. * Team & Supplier Management: Lead multi-disciplinary teams and third-party suppliers, delegating work packages to drive efficient project delivery. * Stakeholder & Change Management: Act as the primary communicator for leadership, managing expectations, requirements trade-offs, and software release authorisations. * Governance & Reporting: Maintain precise documentation and "Time Now" reporting, tracking key metrics like resource utilisation and budget health. * Continuous Improvement: Enforce coding standards and DevOps best practices while evolving project methodologies to boost productivity.
Requirements
Project Leadership: Experience of managing software lifecycles from initiation to completion, owning budgets, schedules, and quality as the Design Authority. * Technical Foundation: previous technical experience allowing you the opportunity to leverage a strong background in software engineering to bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives.
Benefits & conditions
Salary: up to £66,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 3 to 4 days per week on-site, due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
