Job description
The main responsibility of the Hardware Electronic Engineer is the research, design, and development of electronic devices for aviation applications.
The Hardware Electronic Engineer works in the HW team within the R&D department in a cross-disciplinary and international environment. What will you do?

Plan, document and develop new hardware items from the initial specification and requirements through prototypes to production series.

Analyze the current state-of-the-art technologies.

Perform analysis, simulations, and design justifications for the technical architecture proposals.

Design, validate and verify the hardware developments.

Schematic capture

PCB layout design (Support to PCB designer or own layout)

Technical documentation

Design requirements and test cases

Support to system definition

Support to regulatory and safety certification
Requirements
- Telecommunications, Industrial, or Electronic Engineering Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in the design of hardware products, prototyping, and debugging.
- PCB design over ECAD tools (Altium, Orcad, Mentor…)
- Electronic simulations (LTSpice, TINA, Saturn…)
- SoC and FPGA designs (NXP, Xiilink, Intel, Microchip) and High-Speed interface designs.
- Background in the definition of technical documentation.
- Background in verification and validation activities.
- Fluent written in English.
Valuable:
- Relevant experience in an equivalent position in the aerospace industry.
- Background in developing hardware products for avionics equipment over DO-254.
- Background in reliability and safety activities.
- Understanding of EMI/EMC and environmental qualification activities over DO-160.
