Senior Software Tester(Automation)

Promatrix Solutions is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer with an excellent technical understanding of software quality assurance, modern testing practices, and several years of relevant experience. You will be able to test large-scale software systems, distributed platforms, APIs, and microservices with minimal and changing requirements. You are a motivated self-starter who can power through ambiguity and work independently to achieve results. You are a collaborative team player who rolls up their sleeves, responds quickly and decisively, is flexible and open to change, and is able to productively work with the team to achieve company objectives. Degree in Computer Science or relevant field 7+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual / Automation)

Able to produce effective documentation to communicate anything from an idea to a strategy Capable of defining and implementing testing processes and procedures

Good stakeholder management Strong understanding of strategies including:

Agile, Lean UX Methodology, and Test Driven Development Systems testing (service integration, infrastructure) API testing Manual testing Platform testing Application monitoring User Testing A/B Testing Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Python / Selenium / Behave / Playwright / Robot Framework Experience in AI-assisted testing tools, test case generation, intelligent test automation, and validation of AI-driven applications Understanding of security testing practices including vulnerability assessment, OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization testing, penetration testing basics, and secure API testing Desirable Skills: Experience working with repository / versioning tools (e.g. Git, BitBucket) Experience with JavaScript and shell scripting (Bash or otherwise) Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Splunk, Zabbix, Kibana) Experience working with command line interfaces (e.g. Terminal, Putty) Exposure to public cloud services (e.g. AWS, Heroku, Azure) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Experience with Issue & Project Management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello) Exposure to performance and load testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Locust, Gatling) Common Character Traits: Able to work collaboratively within different teams Possess sound judgement Passionate about delivering excellence Self-starting and able to self-manage Empowered to take initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Curious mindset with interest in emerging technologies such as AI and Cyber Security
