Job description
- Analyse and interpret real-world healthcare data to support RWE studies and evidence generation
- Apply statistical and advanced analytics to identify trends and actionable insights
- Build and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and validate large datasets
- Use Python (and/or R) for data analysis, automation, and modeling
- Partner with product, research, and operations teams to address customer business challenges
- Manage and curate analytical datasets for market and commercial modeling
- Ensure high standards of data quality, documentation, and reproducibility
- Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute ideas that help shape product, data, and analytics strategy
About the Team
This role reports to the Manager, Healthcare Research & Data Analytics, based in India, and is part of a collaborative, global analytics team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences analytics, including commercial, patient, payer, KPI, or provider analytics
- Hands-on experience working with Real-World Evidence (RWE) and real-world healthcare data such as claims, EHR, or secondary datasets
- Strong expertise in handling large, complex datasets in a healthcare context
- Advanced skills in SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy, analytical/statistical libraries); strong proficiency in Excel
- Solid foundation in statistical modeling and advanced analytics, including forecasting, clustering, and market mix modeling
- Proven ability to drive analytical outcomes through strategic data integration and leadership across large-scale data processing
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
- Understanding of the US payer and Market Access landscape
- Exposure to medical device data and transactional-level datasets
- Experience working with patient-level data (APLD)
- Familiarity with IMS / IQVIA or similar healthcare data vendors
- Knowledge of R and data visualization tools such as Tableau
Benefits & conditions
This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The position is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in our Barcelona office (next to Sagrada Familia).
