Design Engineer

• Design Engineer role within a bespoke manufacturing environment
• Responsibility for end-to-end design projects, from customer enquiry through to manufacture
• Design and development of new and existing products to meet customer and business requirements
• Creation of high-quality technical drawings, documentation, and bills of materials
• Collaboration with customers and internal production teams to deliver effective solutions
• Opportunity to contribute to product improvement, cost reduction, and new manufacturing methods
• Occasional travel to customer sites to support design reviews, installation, or problem-solving

• HNC/HND or equivalent industry experience
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background
• Experience using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Minimum 2 years' mechanical design experience
