Job description

To administer, develop, and support the Council's Housing Management Systems to ensure they enable high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused housing services across the organisation. The postholder will provide specialist system expertise to support Scottish housing functions, including homelessness, allocations, rent management, repairs, housing options, tenant participation and strategic planning. They will work collaboratively with ICT, software suppliers, service managers, and corporate teams to maintain system integrity, support data requirements for Scottish Government returns, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Requirements

Significant experience in a Systems Administration role. Working knowledge and experience in using Microsoft packages and other computer systems. Project management experience. Relevant qualification to HNC, SVQ3 level (or equivalent) or substantial relevant experience. Strong organisational skills, analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to data quality. Able to prioritise workloads and meet challenges and deadlines. Ability to work as a team member but also on own initiative. Self-confident and self-motivated. Strong data management, analysis, and reporting skills. Experience of developing and delivering training. Supervisory experience. Ability to relate to others. Effective communication skills both oral and written. Appreciation, acceptance of and commitment to the importance of confidentiality. Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service. Ability to work in an open plan, shared office or at home as required. Must be able to work in different offices dependent on the service requirements.
