Job description
The Data Controller ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of operational data that supports planning, execution, records, and reporting for line maintenance Production PODs. This role maintains a single source of truth across systems such as Trax to enable reliable forecasts, regulatory compliance, and meaningful performance measurement., * Ensure there is one work order per aircraft event and confirm that priorities are applied as set by
- Schedule and coordinate daily checks for the station and align tasks to available ground time, access, and skills.
- Review every log page for completeness and accuracy and resolve any discrepancies before
- Verify that required fields, signatures, and digital artifacts such as log pages and scans meet Tech Records intake standards.
- Enter and validate log page information in Trax and correct errors identified during
- Close task cards and work orders in Trax and ensure status and timestamps reflect the actual
- Print and organize work order packages and task cards for the station and stage materials needed for the next shift.
- Reconcile closed work packages, parts tags, and other required documents and scan and upload the complete bundle to AirVault.
- Maintain version history of packs, prints, and checklists used during the shift and track any changes made after release.
- Confirm that non routine items are created, linked to the parent task or work order, and communicated to Planning and MCC.
- Coordinate with Materials to verify part reservations, issues, returns, and certification records and resolve mismatches promptly.
- Publish a daily data quality report that summarizes missing fields, late entries, and outstanding closeout items and drive timely clearance
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in the airline industry, preferably with wide-body aircraft and line maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in aviation maintenance, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of FAA
- Experience with maintenance planning systems such as
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) with strong data-entry accuracy and organizational
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with Maintenance Control, Line Maintenance, Engineering, and logistics teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, time-critical operational
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and compliance
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational

Pay Range $113,000-$152,000 USD
