Job description
Bumblebee IT Support Technicians provide remote and on-site technical support for a variety of client environments, including healthcare organizations, business operations, and enterprise technology systems.
Technicians work closely with a centralized support team and serve as the local field technician when on-site assistance is required.
This role requires the ability to travel to client sites with as little as one day's notice, typically within a three-hour driving radius. Some overnight travel may be required depending on project scope and client needs., * Provide remote and on-site support for Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Support Active Directory and Microsoft 365 / Azure AD environments
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for network connectivity issues, including wired, wireless, voice systems, and VPN connections
- Respond to and manage support tickets through the company's helpdesk system
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Configure, deploy, and support laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, and wireless access points
- Travel to client locations to perform onsite troubleshooting, installations, and support services
- Collaborate closely with other IT support team members to resolve complex issues
- Document resolutions and create technical articles for the company's Knowledge Base to support training and knowledge sharing
- Maintain strong communication with both internal team members and client personnel
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Proven experience installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows desktop environments both remotely and onsite
- Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience with client VPN configuration and connectivity troubleshooting
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, wireless networks, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and support requests in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent hands-on technical experience will also be considered, * Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to travel up to 3 hours to client sites with one day's notice
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Total travel expected less than 25%
