Job description
A technology company is seeking a GenAI Developer to design and deploy AI-powered workflows in real-world production environments. The ideal candidate has strong Python backend experience and hands-on expertise building GenAI solutions such as chatbots, RAG pipelines, and agent-based systems using enterprise LLMs. This role partners closely with engineering and product teams to bring GenAI capabilities into business-critical applications. 3-4 days a week onsite in Palo Alto, CA.
- Build and maintain backend services using Python for business applications
- Develop and integrate GenAI capabilities into production applications
- Work with LLMs (GPT, Google Gemini) within real-world workflows
- Design and implement agent-based solutions to solve complex problems
- Collaborate closely with a ~30-person team across engineering and product
- Communicate technical decisions clearly to teammates and stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong backend Python development experience (PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
- 7 years of total experience
- Experience designing GenAI-powered workflows end-to-end
- Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered applications in real-world environments
- Hands-on experience with LLMs from enterprise providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google)
- Experience implementing:
- Chatbots
- RAG pipelines
- Agent-based systems (primary focus)
- Experience designing end-to-end GenAI workflows, from input to output
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including training and fine-tuning models
- Cloud development experience supporting AI-driven applications
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Proven experience building complex business logic in Python
- Azure cloud experience
- Comfortable in a startup culture
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
