Job description
We are seeking entry-level Data Center Cable Technicians to support large-scale fiber cabling projects within data center environments. This work supports a major fiber upgrade initiative focused on replacing existing coax cabling with fiber. Technicians will be responsible for pulling high volumes of fiber and performing basic terminations in active data centers., * Pull and route high volumes of fiber optic cabling
- Assist with removal of existing coax and replacement with fiber
- Perform basic fiber termination work
- Support structured cabling installations in data center environments
- Follow strict safety, quality, and site compliance standards
- Work collaboratively with project leads and team members
- Travel between multiple data center sites as project needs require
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
Requirements
- Cable pulling and installation
- Structured cabling experience
- Fiber optic cabling
- Low-voltage cabling
- Familiarity with Cat5 / Cat6 and coax
- Experience working in data center environments
