Job description

We are seeking a Manager Data Analytics & Engineering to lead the development of scalable data platforms, analytics systems, and data science solutions that enable intelligent, data-driven decision making across the organization.

This role will lead a team of data engineers, data scientists, and analysts responsible for building robust data pipelines, developing advanced algorithms, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and analytics platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering ability (Databricks, data pipelines) with data science and algorithmic thinking and has experience delivering business intelligence dashboards (QuickSight or similar tools) that translate complex datasets into operational insights.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Participate and lead design and manage scalable data platforms using Databricks and modern lakehouse architectures
  • Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple enterprise systems (ERP, MES, IoT platforms, applications)
  • Develop scalable data models that support analytics, machine learning, and reporting
  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across the data ecosystem
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize data science models within the platform. Evaluate and implement advanced analytics techniques and AI capabilities
  • Manage the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and data visualizations using QuickSight or similar BI platforms
  • Define and track business KPIs, operational metrics, and performance indicators
  • Enable self-service analytics for product, operations, and leadership teams
  • Facilitate translation of complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, data scientists, and analysts
  • Define technical standards for data engineering, model development, and analytics
  • Manage roadmap, sprint planning, and delivery of data and analytics initiatives
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field required, Masters Degree strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering and data analytics required
  • 2+ years of experience leading data or analytics teams preferred
  • Strong experience with Databricks, Spark, or modern lakehouse architectures required
  • Expertise in SQL and Python for data engineering and analytics required
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, statistical modeling, and data science techniques required
  • Experience building business intelligence dashboards (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) required

Benefits & conditions

Hiring Base Salary Range: $105,780 - $196,440 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). In addition to base salary, some positions are eligible for an annual performance based bonus.
