Job description
- Work collaboratively across hardware and software teams to support products as they move from concept through prototype and into production
- Assess system coverage against established requirements using requirements management tools and ensure traceability
- Support end-to-end system validation activities including test planning, requirements verification, and data analysis
- Provide technical communication across teams, leadership, and stakeholders
Configuration Management:
- Define and implement configuration management plans and processes for key programs
- Identify and manage system-wide Configuration Items (CI's) ranging hardware, software, artifacts, to production (i.e. EBOM, MBOM)
- Lead change management and version control across the system lifecycle, including holding Change Control Boards (CCB).
- Manage engineering release processes and change control procedures
- Coordinate configuration audits (FCA, PCA) and ensure compliance to requirements

Requirements
- Strong engineering foundation in a core discipline such as software engineering, hardware design, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or configuration management
- Direct experience with configuration management including product structures, BOMs, and version control
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools for configuration management
- Strong technical communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information into clear decision statements
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain at least an active U.S. Secret security clearance, * Experience in aerospace or defense industry
- Experience with Teamcenter, Teamcenter Requirements, or equivalent PLM systems
- Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Proficient in technical writing of processes and procedures
- Certification in CM2 or equivalent configuration management certification

$146,000 - $194,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
