Job description

Client-ITD is seeking an experienced AWS/Java Developer (8-10 years) to support data modernization initiatives using AWS cloud solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and managing cloud-native applications and ETL pipelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams., * Modernize legacy applications and migrate to AWS cloud

Design, develop, and test Java-based (Spring/J2EE) cloud-native applications
Build and maintain AWS ETL jobs and enterprise data lakes
Develop data pipelines, perform data validation, and backend testing
Implement DevOps best practices and participate in code reviews
Optimize applications for performance, security, and cost

Requirements

5+ years AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, Glue, Athena, VPC)
7+ years strong Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate
5+ years application modernization & cloud migration
3+ years AWS ETL/data pipeline development
Strong SQL, RDBMS, and data modeling knowledge
DevOps & Agile/Scrum experience
Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have:

AWS Certification
Power BI or AWS QuickSight experience
State Government experience
Ideal candidate with strong AWS, Java, and ETL expertise in enterprise cloud environments.
