Network Controller

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role within a 24/7 operational environment. Candidates must be flexible and available for rotating shifts based on mission priorities. This position plays a critical role in supporting key DoD missions and their associated networks., Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation and research. Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, error/alarm analysis, and other troubleshooting methods. Monitor network performance using specialized tools; escalate issues as needed. Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy. Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure.

High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant experience. Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking. Strong verbal and written communication skills. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent). Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret. Salary range: $55,000 - $65,500, based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and sick leave (as required by law).
