Job description
Description of Work The Sustainability, Efficiency, and Resilience Program Analyst support the Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) Maintenance Operations by installing, servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Sustainability, Efficiency, and Resilience (SE&R) systems across correctional facilities. The role performs professional engineering work that includes evaluating and commissioning HVAC building automation, water management, and electrical metering systems, supporting regional maintenance personnel, and applying engineering principles to ensure code compliant operation of energy related infrastructure within the Department of Adult Correction., The Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) coordinates all North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections (NCDAC) construction and renovation efforts, working closely with the State Construction Office to bring projects to life. We represent the department on key property and building matters while keeping facilities running smoothly through expert support for mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and other essential systems. With a dedicated team specializing in design, project management, and sustainability, DECM helps ensure our facilities stay safe, efficient, and ready to serve. Requirements
Demonstrated experience in developing programs for departmental agencies and the principles and practices of public and/or business administration. -Demonstrated experience of accounting practices and procedures relating to fiscal appropriations and funding. -Demonstrated experience in collecting, analyzing, and deploying data and information into useable systems and formats, using tools such as but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, AI, Smart Sheets, databases, data analytics, and/or other similar programs.
