The Comptroller of Maryland is seeking a Project Manager to plan, execute and close IT projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, budget constraints, and timelines so projects meet requirements and deliver value. The duties and expectations of the project manager include but are not limited to:
- Leading interdisciplinary teams, managing project scopes, mitigating risks, and managing contractors or vendors, drafting RFPs.
- Managing the procurement lifecycle, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Famliarity with formal project management methodologies and with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Have strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Experienced with project management software.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field from an accredited college or university. Experience: Four (4) years of project management experience leading/overseeing IT-related projects.
