Job description

As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for the full lifecycle of complex systems, from requirements definition through integration, verification, and validation. This role will support the execution of comprehensive development programs to verify system and subsystem requirements, lead the integration of system elements, and direct the conduct of large-scale system verification testing, ensuring robust performance of tactical hardware systems.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred., * System Verification and Validation: Leading the development and execution of system V&V plans, procedures, and reports.

  • Requirements Lifecycle Management: Experience with requirements allocation, decomposition, management, and traceability, utilizing tools like DOORS.
  • Test and Integration: Performing system-level integration and testing in both lab and operational environments, including environmental testing.
  • Hardware Systems: Applying a strong background in hardware engineering to the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of system components.
  • Design for Excellence: Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), and environmental compliance.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Proficiency with MBSE tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw is a significant plus.
