Advanced Systems Engineer

• Provide senior technical expertise and guidance for systems engineering activities across payload systems programs
• Lead requirements management, architecture development, and technical solutions that balance customer needs with program objectives
• Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams including hardware, software, and cyber-security engineers to deliver integrated solutions
• Lead design reviews, communicate technical strategies to development teams, and provide expert guidance on system design decisions
• Resolve highly complex technical issues, drive research initiatives, champion MBSE implementation, and mentor systems engineering team members
• Support program reviews and customer engagements with technical expertise and documentation
• Champion systems engineering best practices, processes, and toolset optimization

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred., * Expert-level knowledge of systems engineering principles with proven track record of delivering complex payload systems

We Encourage You to Apply if You Have Any of These Preferred Skills or Experiences:

• 10+ years of progressive systems engineering experience with significant technical depth
• Expert proficiency with requirements management tools (DOORS, Jira, Jama) and systems modeling tools (MagicDraw, Cameo)
• Extensive experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) implementation and mapping to software/hardware development
• Proven experience with Agile or SCRUM methodologies with strong understanding of task planning and technical forecasting
• Comprehensive knowledge of payload systems, naval systems, or complex defense applications
