Under the direction of the CDS Director of Nursing Operations sources and secures general nursing to provide adequate staff coverage based on unit and facility need for PHS enterprise including 9 facilities and home health/hospice. Responsible for sourcing, credentialing, and deployment of general nursing according to established policies, procedures, systems and processes. Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: No Job is based: Plains Regional Medical Center Work Shift: Days (United States of America), * Coordinates general nursing needs for the enterprise including sourcing, facilitating communication for placement, scheduling of on boarding including IT SRs, EPIC training, API, etc., verifies credentialing and ensures credentialing compliance with regulatory requirements, ensures compliance with NM DOH fingerprinting and care giver screening requirements, communicates identified performance issues.
- Documents and tracks general staffing needs, requests and placements.
- Responsible for completing general nursing time care, billing, and invoicing accurately and timely.
- Performs a wide variety of secretarial and clerical duties.
- Performs a wide variety of general and specific typing assignments.
- Inform appropriate management personnel internal and external to the organization of problems/issues related to staffing.
- Demonstrates expertise in communication skills, promotes effective working relationships, and maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Accurately maintains records and work schedules, produces various reports, and
- compiles statistical information, both manually and in the computer system.
- Responsible for accurate, timely, and appropriate communication of a variety of detailed and confidential information to a wide network of internal contacts.
- Understand policies and procedures related to staffing and function as a resource to staff and directors.
- Demonstrates the ability to operate the staffing and scheduling system, telephone and other general office equipment.
- Maintains department specific record keeping, logs, statistics or databases in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Distributes mail and other materials to department staff. Maintains organized filing system and storage areas.
- Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers. Makes copies, assists with equipment usage; copier, laminator, fax machine, and scanning. Performs department specific duties as assigned.
- Displays appropriate CARES commitments for the organizational, customer specific and leadership competencies identified above
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Associates degree preferred.
- 2+ years experience, in healthcare as a senior secretary/administrative assistant/ staffing coordinator, residency support/management, and/or billing/invoicing/accounts payable experience.
