Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join a large Enterprise Technology team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be a strong Lean/Agile practitioner responsible for coaching multiple cross-functional teams and driving Agile maturity across the organization.

This individual will serve as a servant leader, ensuring effective delivery across the end-to-end value stream while supporting a high-visibility, complex initiative. The role involves managing cross-team dependencies, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and promoting continuous improvement at scale., * Lead Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Guide teams in adopting Lean and Kanban practices to optimize delivery flow.
  • Facilitate cross-team planning and synchronization meetings.
  • Promote transparency through visual dashboards and Agile metrics.

Planning & Execution

  • Support quarterly, release, and sprint planning activities.
  • Ensure backlog readiness and alignment with business priorities.
  • Identify and manage feature/story-level dependencies across teams.

Team Coaching & Support

  • Mentor teams toward self-organization and high performance.
  • Remove impediments by collaborating with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Protect teams from external distractions and foster a culture of trust.
  • Monitor and share team metrics to encourage continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
  • Experience working in enterprise Lean-Agile environments.
  • Exposure to risk or security-related programs is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, TKP) preferred.
  • Candidates ideally based in the Atlanta, GA metro area.
