Job description

We are a growing industrial supply company with five locations seeking a dependable and hands-on IT Specialist to support our operations. This role is critical to keeping our systems running efficiently across all branches. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of IT responsibilities-from day-to-day technical support to system improvements and security., * Maintain and support IT infrastructure across all five locations, including hardware, software, and network systems

  • Monitor and enhance cybersecurity measures to protect company data and operations
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for employees in office, warehouse, and remote environments
  • Support and maintain Epicor ERP system, including backend processes, updates, and user assistance
  • Travel to branch locations as needed to install, repair, or upgrade systems
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency across departments (sales, warehouse, operations, etc.)
  • Perform system updates, backups, and preventative maintenance
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding employees (equipment setup, system access, etc.)
  • Maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Work closely with management to align IT systems with operational goals

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of networking, hardware, and system troubleshooting
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff
  • Willingness to travel between company locations as needed
  • Valid driver's license
