Our AI/Cloud Systems Administrator will design, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on C2E, AWS, and Kubernetes to support AI-driven document vectorization, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and RESTful API integrations. This role requires close collaboration with AI data engineers and system architects to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure for mission-critical AI workflows., * Configure AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS) to build scalable data pipelines for document vectorization using tools like LlamaIndex and vector stores like Qdrant.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters to host MCP servers, and local Large Language Models ensuring seamless integration with RESTful endpoints (OpenAI, OpenAPI, GraphQL).
- Implement security protocols (ABAC, PKI encryption) to comply with DIA CIO, NIST SP 800-53, and ICD 503 standards.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource allocation for high-throughput AI workflows.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to ensure infrastructure aligns with data processing requirements.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated AI and Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team., * 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in AI/ML workflows, document vectorization, and RESTful API integration.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (ABAC, PKI encryption).
- Some Experience with tools like OpenWebUI, Ollama, vLLM, and MCP.
- 8140 certified (e.g. Security +) and AWS certified (able to obtain a customer privileged user account)
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DIA JWICS/C2S environments.

The physical requirements of this position include:
- Ability to work at a desk for approximately 8 hours / day for a full 5 day workweek
- Ability to work in a SCIF environment, potentially co-located with govt customers, for some full workdays
