Job description

As a Solutions Engineer, you will consult with clients to gain a detailed understanding of their business, identify their business challenges, and develop solutions that meet their needs. You will leverage your technical expertise and industry knowledge to uncover opportunities and recommend solutions that drive successful outcomes for the client. The SE architects and designs solutions utilizing T-Mobile or partner business solutions, equipment & network. SEs provide technical expertise as a part of sales presentations, product demonstrations, as well as providing guidance to client's technical inquiries. SEs drives solution based outcomes in partnership with Business Sales for specific client opportunities. SEs will keep the Business Sales teams they support apprised of relevant technologies and industry trends. They will also consult with Sales on the technical aspects of T-Mobile for business products and services. The SE will partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Ops, and Care teams to provide feedbac & to act as the voice of the client to our internal stakeholders. SEs keep their technical abilities and industry knowledge up-to-date by attending internal and external training programs. They also obtain and retain relevant partner or industry certifications as needed for their role.

Enterprise Solutions Engineers will also: *Understand and present T-Mobile network and related key technologies *Maintain expert-level knowledge of core products & solutions *Maintain expert-level knowledge of Value-Added Solutions including private network, UCaaS & related software, ect. *Enable coverage options and create suitable solutions for client review *Partner with Advanced Network Service Team to create or augment required network/coverage solution *Faciliate post-sale support/escalations as needed, * Provide alignment and support to a group of Enterprise clients, including Fortune 1000 and Global 500 companies, within a specific geographic region

  • Participate in client meetings including Executive Briefings and onsite at client locations
  • Enable coverage options and create suitable solutions for client review
  • Lead complex client solution based opportunities in sophisticated client segments such as Fortune 1K & Global 500.
  • Provides Subject Matter Expertise in the following areas of focus: IOT, UCaaS, Private Network/Network Slicing, SDWAN/Edge, Security, Fixed Wireless, etc.)
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and expand solutions, achieve business objectives, and overcome technical challenges
  • Present and differentiate current & future state of T-Mobile's Network capabilities & product roadmap
  • Maintain and update technical knowledge of wireless networks, devices, and industry trends through ongoing training and certification
  • Support sales teams by providing technical input during presentations, responding to inquiries, and assisting with request for proposal processes
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
  • Provide RFP technical input
  • Strategize with Sales team to improve Regional sales
  • Participate and lead Product, Network, & Marketing road-show and/or webinars
  • Own customer technical relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)

  • 2-4 years - Experience in telecommunications, with a professional track record of successful solution sales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrix environment.

  • Previous B2B Sales experience (required)

  • Experience supporting Enterprise and Public Sector accounts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical Leadership (Required)

  • Communication Excellent oral and written communications; strong interpersonal skills. (Required)

  • Applications Proficiency with business application software. (Required)

  • Strategic Leadership Ability to provide strategic direction in a leadership role. (Required)

  • Technical Presentations Ability to create and deliver technical presentations. (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $112,500 - $202,900, inclusive of target incentives

Base Pay Range: $78,750 - $142,030

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
