Application Engineer

Seeking an application engineer who is highly motivated, has good social skills, and is interested in chassis system design and EV battery system design.

Essential Duties:

• Work independently or with the R&D teams (in Korea) to meet technical and commercial customers' requirements.
• Develop technical collateral material and application notes
• Provide new product and technical training to distributors and customers
• Serve as a project leader on special application for partners, customers, prospects, product managers
• Applying knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assigned tasks
• Assisting in developing technical specifications, implementing designs, and delivering high performance, low-cost equipment or system results integrated with customers' solutions

*Interfacing with sales and marketing teams to design and deliver solutions

*Participating as a team member and actively contributing towards team goals

*Build strong relationships with assigned customer's technical teams

*Understand customer quality requirements and corresponding documentation

Do you have experience in Welding?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in engineering?, * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively interact with all functional levels

• Must be capable of analyzing designs received via CAD models, drawings, sketches, and other information provided by customers and R&D teams.

*Working knowledge of joining processes (welding, bonding,) and manufacturing plant practices is required

• Working knowledge of Desing-Of-Experiments is required
• General knowledge in interpreting FEA forming simulation and optimization results is required
• General knowledge of the automotive OEM manufacturing processes is required.
• Korean speakers are preferred (Option)
