Job description
Our client seeks a BI Analyst to build analytics and reporting solutions that enable financial decision-making and improve data integrity. The role will own reporting end to end, partner with Finance and Accounting, and develop data models in Snowflake and dbt. The analyst will ensure strong quality controls, collaborate with stakeholders, and iterate on dashboards to drive accuracy and usability., * Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate end-user needs into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Mode or similar BI tools to support broader finance initiatives.
- Own the full reporting lifecycle from requirements gathering through development, testing, and iteration based on user feedback.
- Build and maintain backend data models using Snowflake and dbt to support reporting and analytics use cases.
- Establish and maintain data quality controls, validation checks, and reliability of reports and underlying data models.
- Support financial and accounting reporting needs, including work tied to evolving systems and processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics partners to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and usability.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Experience building analytics and reports using a BI tool such as Mode or Tableau.
- Proven experience supporting Finance and Accounting reporting and analytics.
- Experience building backend data models to support reporting and insights.
- Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a feedback-driven environment.
- Python experience (preferred).
- Experience supporting or working alongside ERP implementations (preferred).
- Prior experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments (preferred).
- Ability to own work independently while collaborating cross-functionally (preferred).
- Alteryx experience (preferred).
