Job description
We're working with a client looking for an IT Engineer with experience in PowerShell, CMD, endpoint management, and deploying/maintaining complex software in a Windows environment. This is a fully on-site role. Point of Sale and/or payments experience is Needed., An organization is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain technical products and platforms that support business operations and growth. This role blends systems engineering, endpoint management, and application support, with a strong emphasis on Windows environments and enterprise software deployment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working across infrastructure, applications, and user-facing systems., * Design, build, test, and maintain technical solutions and platforms supporting business objectives
- Analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and scalability
- Deploy, manage, and maintain complex software applications across Windows-based environments
- Manage and support enterprise endpoints, including configuration, patching, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and software issues to ensure high availability and performance
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and CMD to streamline operations
- Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization of technical initiatives aligned with business needs
- Design, execute, and maintain automated testing to ensure quality and reliability of solutions
- Research and recommend improvements to systems, tools, and infrastructure
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical solutions
- Participate in project work and ongoing system maintenance activities as needed
Technical Environment & Preferred Experience
- Strong experience in Windows environments (server and endpoint)
- PowerShell and CMD scripting for automation and system management
- Endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, or similar)
- Software deployment and lifecycle management
- Experience supporting or integrating Point of Sale (POS) systems (preferred)
- Experience with payment processing systems or environments (preferred)

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining technical solutions in a business environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- $130,000-160,000 per year
