You'll work hands-on with critical infrastructure technologies, ensuring performance, security, and uptime for substation and distribution automation systems.
What You'll Do
- Engineer and deploy SCADA and HMI systems for electric substations and field automation platforms
- Program and configure control system components, including RTUs, PLCs, and protocol gateways
- Maintain and troubleshoot installed SCADA infrastructure, including networked devices and associated software environments
- Analyze historical and live system data to improve reliability, response times, and operational clarity
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify control improvements and implement design revisions
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship or current Green Card
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SCADA platforms such as:
- Ignition (Inductive Automation)
- Emerson OSI
- Wonderware / AVEVA
- Siemens SICAM
- ABB MicroSCADA
- Deep understanding of utility field equipment (relays, IEDs, RTUs, communications hardware) and their workflows
- Proficiency with Windows-based development and configuration environments for SCADA and HMI systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms, scripting, or SQL is beneficial but not required
This is an opportunity to work on meaningful, high-impact systems in a stable and technology-driven environment.
