Kentro is hiring a Power BI Engineer to join its End Point Support and Operations Monitoring (ESOM). This role is responsible designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to translate data into meaningful insights supporting program performance, operational reporting, and decision making. This role requires strong technical expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and data integration, as well as the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences., * Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboard, reports, and datasets supporting enterprise program operations.
- Build interactive visualization that communicate program performance, KPIs, financial data, and operational metrics.
- Implement Power Bi data models using best practices for performance, scalability, and usability.

- Integrate Power BI with enterprise data sources including SQL databases, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Excel, and cloud data platforms.
- Perform data transformation and cleansing tasks.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and dashboards.
- Support development of program performance metrics, operational dashboards, and executive reporting packages.
- Provide data analysis and visualization guidance to program leadership.
- Implement Power BI governance standards including dataset management, report certification, and workspace organization.
- Maintain documentation for data sources, models, and reporting logic.
- Partner with program managers, and technical teams to identify reporting requirements.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions and data discovery workshops.
- Deliver demonstration of dashboards and analytics products.
- Identify opportunities to improve data visibility, reporting automation, and analytics maturity.
- Optimize existing dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Support adoption of data-driven decision making across the program., * Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
- Strong experience with:
- Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Data modeling and star schema design
- DAX and Power Query
- SQL and relational databases.
- Experience integrating Power BI with enterprise systems such as:
- ServiceNow
- SharePoint
- Excel data sources
- Experience supporting federal government program or large enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate complex datasets into executive-level insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
