Requirements
We are currently seeking engineers with experience in digital design and clocking. Digital design activities will be with embedded systems and circuits utilizing DDR, multi-gigabit high-speed serial (SERDES) links, ethernet communication, and control paths including I2C & SPI interfaces., * Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, Masters degree preferred.
- Previous industry experience and a working knowledge of FPGAs, embedded processors, Linux, and programming languages like Python can prove helpful as they are often part of the design and test efforts.
- Must be able to travel internationally to support prototype manufacturing and/or customer deployments.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Clocking activities relate to architectures utilizing digital frequency synthesis, PLLs, low phase noise clocks, and reference oscillators used for the generation of high-quality clocks of various frequencies.
- Knowledge in Siemens Expedition (design), Hyperlynx (simulation), high speed oscilloscopes, and circuit/interface compliance testing is preferred.
- The primary design work is at the board level though a working knowledge of FPGAs, embedded processors, Linux, and programming languages like Python can prove helpful as they are often part of the design and test efforts.
- Basic to intermediate skill and desire to learn Signal Integrity (SI) simulation methods
