Web Designer - Remote / Telecommute

• The Web Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and user interfaces.
• This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, creating responsive and user-friendly designs, and ensuring high-quality code and application performance.
• The candidate will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to development, testing, and continuous improvement of web solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements and scope.
• Develop and maintain web applications, tools, and processes.
• Perform UI design, coding, and creation of reusable components and wireframes.
• Ensure software stability through testing, debugging, and quality assurance processes.
• Perform unit testing and user acceptance testing to identify and resolve issues.
• Make updates and enhancements to existing websites and applications.
• Work with development teams to ensure application availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Implement new designs in collaboration with engineers and product teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Conduct regular backups and maintain system reliability.
• Contribute to risk assessment, issue tracking, and status reporting.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proficiency with content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal.
• Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.

Skills:

• Web design and development.

• API integration and web services.
• Testing and debugging.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
