Job description
The Network Analyst will be a member of the Field Infrastructure Services team that provides implementation and technical support for networks and network security solutions that are deployed to connect and secure the mission critical consumer technology solutions and operational systems at field sites.
They will be a self-starter who can perform remote support and maintenance to field network equipment, while managing incoming incident and technical request queues.
Excellent analytical, customer and client relationship skills are critical to this role. The position reports to the Manager of Field Infrastructure., Support infrastructure project coordinators in the installation and turn up of Fortinet firewalls and Cisco Small Business switches.
- Serves as L2 escalation resource for firewall monitoring. The support analyst will work with operations, client IT, and internet service providers to resolve network outages.
- Follows Service Management practices by documenting work within incidents, requests, and problems according to guidelines necessary to extract accurate service metrics. Adheres to change management practices when performing change tasks and creating change procedures. Performs maintenance tasks related to firewall firmware upgrades, policy updates and decommissioning of Fortinet firewalls.
Requirements
Experience with the Fortinet Fabric (i.e. firewalls, switches and APs)
