Sr. Interactive Designer

• As a Sr. Interactive Designer, you'll be responsible for crafting digital experiences within the Creative.
• With a combination of exceptional interaction, art direction, and animation skills you'll create simple, modern and impactful best in class work.
• You'll collaborate with an extraordinary team to design inspiring campaigns, evergreen, and editorial content for web surfaces, primarily our Newsroom and Business sites which serve advertisers, media agencies, SMBs and press.

Daily responsibilities:

• Leverage industry knowledge and apply a user-centered design approach to web surfaces Lead and actively drive projects forward, collaborating daily with designers, writers and strategists
• Work alongside system designers to expand and scale a new design system Facilitate critiques and brainstorming sessions
• Clearly articulate ideas to different disciplines and solicit feedback from various stakeholders
• Create proof of concept prototypes, leveraging Figma AI and other tools that accelerate exploration, iteration, and presentation Proactively communicate with excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Take direction and constructive feedback from design, strategy, and writing leads
• Operate autonomously, anticipate next steps and feedback, moving work forward with minimal direction
• Critique work with a strong brand + interactive POV, giving clear, actionable feedback Balance and manage your time effectively across multiple projects

• Figma fluency; work within a Figma library Designing for multiple languages and locals Experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into day-to-day.
• Work within a CMS Effectively distill ideas through documentation and presentation.
• Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• You master craft, composition, imagery, typography, iconography, color, etc
• Animation and story-boarding experience.
• An eye for elevated art direction and modern design sensibilities.
• Knowledgeable of latest interactive trends and best practices.
