Top Secret Windows Systems Administrator

TEKsystems has an immediate Top Secret Cleared Windows Systems Administrator role available in support of a government program in the Bellevue area., The Windows System Administrator is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for a range of Windows based systems, ensuring compliance with DoD 8570.01-M standards. The role involves operating and maintaining end point, server and other Windows based systems under the supervision of senior administrators. This position is in a mixed operating system environment so you will be expected to learn some aspects of Linux based and Audio Visual (AV) systems, but Linux and AV administration may not be your primary responsibilities.

• 5-7 years of experience in Windows system administration.
• Must be certified at the IAT II level or higher per DoD 8570.01-M.
• Demonstrated experience in end-user support, endpoint management, system administration and cybersecurity.
• Knowledge in Windows Operating System, Windows Active Directory, Windows Group Policy, server administration (Windows / Linux) and virtualization maintenance to include type-1 hypervisor deployment and administration a plus.

Preferred Skill Core System Expertise

• Windows Operating System:
• Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019 and newer, Windows Active Directory, Windows Group Policy, permissions, Network File Shares
• Endpoint Management:
• Windows Thick Clients, Cisco IP phone, Dell WYSE thin client, 10ZiG thin client, HP Multi-Function Device.
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI):
• Operate and maintain VMware based infrastructure, vCenter, and ESXi systems.
• Operate and maintain Dell VxRail

This role will be onsite 5 days per week in Bellevue Nebraska.
