Addison Central School District Technology Support Specialist Addison Central School District is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join our well- organized, collaborative IT team. This is an entry-level position - we don't expect you to know everything, and we are committed to training and developing the right candidate. That said, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and some hands-on experience to build from. If you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and want to do meaningful work in a school setting, we encourage you to apply. What You'll Do * Provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students across district buildings * Repair and maintain Chromebooks, iPads, laptops, desktops, printers, and other hardware * Help manage the district's iPad fleet, including device setup and inventory * Troubleshoot software issues on Windows, Mac, and Chromebook devices * Support Google Apps for Education and other district platforms * Assist with networking and infrastructure projects as opportunities arise * Travel between district buildings as needed (valid driver's license required) What We're Looking For The ideal candidate doesn't need a long resume - but should have a solid foundation in technology and the personal qualities to grow with our team: * Comfortable working with computers and technology; familiarity with Windows, Mac, or Chromebook devices * Curious and self-motivated - someone who figures things out and keeps learning * Patient and approachable when helping staff and students of all technical ability levels * Good communicator who enjoys working directly with people * Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a varied workload * Valid driver's license Any of the following is a plus: * Experience repairing or troubleshooting hardware * Familiarity with networking, wireless technologies, or structured cabling * Experience with Google Apps for Education or mobile device management
