Job description
We are seeking an LMS Course Specialist to develop, administer, and sustain Learning Management System capabilities (currently Blackboard) in support of USAFCoE distributed learning and online training, including classified training sites as required., * Develop and sustain LMS-based courses and online training sites that meet Army distributed learning requirements.
- Administer LMS courses and enrollments; manage course structures, access, and schedules.
- Manage community engagement (discussion boards, announcements, collaboration tools) within the LMS.
- Manage digital content lifecycle within the LMS to ensure currency and accuracy.
- Support and sustain online training sites integrated with ATRRS/LCMS and other Army systems.
- Serve as an ATIS/LMS subject matter expert for course frameworks, blended learning, and technical remedies.
- Provide training to instructors, course managers, and writers on LMS features (course design, tests, surveys, gradebook).
- Monitor and report Blackboard LMS usage and availability; provide monthly written reports and recommendations., * Army Blackboard 101 Instructor's Basic Training (10 hours).
- Army Blackboard 201 Exemplary Course Design Training (14 hours).
- Army Blackboard 301 Domain Administrator Training (4 hours).
- Army Blackboard Institutional Hierarchy Training (3 hours).
- Army Blackboard LCMS-ATRRS Interface Training (2 hours).
- Army Blackboard Certificate Management Tool Training (2 hours).
Preferred
- Prior experience with Army Distributed Learning and Army Blackboard.
- Experience supporting transitions between different LMS platforms.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Online education instructional development?, * 2+ years of experience developing courses in an LMS.
- 2+ years administering courses in an LMS.
- 2+ years managing community engagement in an LMS.
- 2+ years managing content in an LMS.
- 2+ years developing and sustaining online training sites.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- English fluency and intermediate Microsoft 365 skills.
