As a Test Automation Lead - P&C Insurance Claims Applications , you will make an impact by driving automation strategy and execution for complex insurance claims systems. You will be a valued member of our Quality Engineering team and collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams, development, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Define and implement a test automation strategy aligned with project goals and client expectations.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Java, and other scripting languages.
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Explore and implement Generative AI solutions to enhance automation efficiency (e.g., script generation, test data creation, defect prediction).
- Lead onsite automation activities, mentor offshore teams, and ensure timely delivery of automation scripts and execution results.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Test Automation with domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Claims Applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Java, and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript preferred).
- Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, BDD).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
This will help you stand out
Exposure to AI-driven test automation tools and techniques, including prompt engineering.
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, Browser Stack).
Knowledge of API automation, performance testing tools (JMeter/Blaze meter), and microservices testing strategies.
ETL test automation experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Benefits & conditions
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to 112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
