Test Lead (P&C Insurance)

We are seeking a seasoned Functional Test Lead to drive high-quality testing for P&C insurance applications. In this role, you will lead a functional testing team, define and execute testing strategies, and ensure comprehensive coverage aligned to business and technical requirements. You will partner closely with cross-functional and client development teams to identify defects, manage remediation, and support successful releases. This role is ideal for a hands-on testing leader who brings strong insurance domain expertise and a passion for continuous improvement.

What you will do at Sogeti:

• Lead and manage the functional testing team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Develop and implement comprehensive functional testing strategies and plans tailored to P&C insurance applications.
• Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the client's development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes.
• Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in functional testing and P&C insurance.

• 8+ years of experience in functional testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• 2+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Education:

• Bachelor-s or Master-s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $95,000 - $130,000.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
