Requirements
- Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field, but if you've followed a different path to expertise in Audio Engineering, we still want to hear from you.
- 5+ years relevant product development experience, * Digital signal processing (DSP), including adaptive filtering, active noise cancellation and optimization of performance of these algorithms in devices
- Speaker control and protection algorithms, including design, implementation and validation of real-time control systems for enhancing speaker performance
- Algorithm prototyping in simulation software such as MATLAB and real-time hardware platforms
- Acoustic prototyping including experimentation in anechoic chambers and audio/acoustic measurement tools
- Listening skills for diagnosing problems in product sound quality

Our Audio Technology team drives the design and integration of advanced audio features across Apple product lines. In this role you will drive system design, modeling, and tuning of audio processing features in Apple products, specifically focusing on active noise cancellation. You will have an opportunity to work on development and analysis of both hardware and software components using a combination of acoustic and DSP skills.
