Wi-Fi Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wi-Fi Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This is a high-priority, onsite role focused on designing, testing, and optimizing next-generation wireless networks. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern Wi-Fi standards and performance optimization, along with hands-on troubleshooting experience., * Design, implement, and optimize Wi-Fi networks across enterprise environments

• Work with advanced 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and emerging technologies like Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7
• Configure and troubleshoot Wi-Fi security protocols and mesh network architectures
• Perform Wi-Fi performance testing, including throughput and latency analysis
• Utilize tools such as Wireshark for packet capture and deep-dive troubleshooting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high network performance and reliability
• Provide technical insights and present findings to stakeholders, including executive leadership

• Strong hands-on experience with 802.11 Wi-Fi standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
• Solid understanding of Wi-Fi security modes and protocols
• Experience working with Wi-Fi mesh networks
• Expertise in Wi-Fi 6E and/or Wi-Fi 7 technologies
• Proven experience in network performance testing (throughput, latency)
• Proficiency with packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Experience with scripting (any scripting, eg..Python, Bash, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of RF principles and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with embedded Linux systems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences
