IT Specialist

Example: The IT coordinator will maintain our information technology systems and networks. You will perform both technical, analytical, and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computers and systems. Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Major Duties & Responsibilities: ? Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects ? Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices ? Provide technical support or training for systems and networks ? Act as link between end users and higher level support ? Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards etc.) ? Monitor system and network performance ? Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration ? Performance maintenance activities (e.g. backups) ? Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules ? Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality ? Generate standard reports as needed (departmental, tax report support, POS reports, ad hoc reports) ? Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) Administrators work with a company's EDI program, maintaining smooth communications for production using EDI tools and ensuring smooth transitions ? EDI Administrators daily activities include a new trading partner setup, serving as the initial contact for troubleshooting inquires, monitoring document transmissions, and identifying opportunities to improve relevant processes ? Setup and test Inbound & Outbound EDI trading partners for new EDI transactions ? Process and monitor all Inbound and all Outbound documents.(Purchase Orders, Advance Ship Notices, Invoicing, PO change, Payment Advice, 943, 944, 753, 754, 816. 824, 997 Functional Acknowledgement) and associated software in a timely manner ? Coordinate with trading partners to maintain effective EDI relationships ? Provide support EDI related issue to internal departments

? Proactively monitor inbound and outbound EDI Activity in the SAP production System ? Maintain/Upgrade EDI related software ? Warehouse Management Systems, your work will directly influence our business and customer promise ? Interacts with other developers, operations, Product Owners, and Solutions Architect to ensure that the technical solution offers scale and supports business needs ? ? Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science. ? 1-3 years related work experience ? Bilingual in English and Korean ? Experience with building and deploying scalable; highly available systems ? Extensive experience in trading partner setup / on-boarding, mapping specifications and documentation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, customer / vendor / internal data issue resolution, interface development for import / export of EDI data ? Experience working with trading partners, including distributors, retailers, manufacturers, third party warehouses, and 3PLs ? Analytical ? gather facts, listen to customers/colleagues and responds professionally ? Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization; ?
