Employ your analytical skills and customer service abilities to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, devising solutions, and providing guidance to STAR's system-wide user base in a 24x7 help desk environment
Support and enhance day-to-day STAR operational services through:
- Application of technical expertise in resolving reported incidents or issues
- Analyzing complex business problems and performing related in-depth research
- Working with cross-functional teams to address business or system issues
- Using technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop processes, and procedures that enhance the team's ability to support the customers in a pro-active and efficient manner
- Producing training and technical documentation for existing and enhanced STAR business processes and applications
- Actively participate in testing activities of the STAR suite of applications, monitor systems and perform system health checks on as needed basis
- Develop a good understanding of the STAR business and inter-dependent systems, * As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst on the STAR (Statistics and Reserves) Central Business Administration Function (CBAF) team, they will play an integral role in supporting the STAR suite of applications. These applications are used across the entire Client System (all twelve districts) and the Board of the Governors to conduct regulatory and monetary policy.
- As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, they will be responsible for satisfying our clients' (Board of Governors two delegated functions - Statistics and Reserves) business objectives through excellent customer service and technical analysis.

Requirements
- Incident management and problem resolution capabilities
- Intermediate to expert level query writing experience (Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift)
- Production Support (Level 1 and 2)
- Experience with shift work (after-hours and weekends) and on-call rotations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact professionally and influence all levels of staff, leadership and a diverse group of customers
Benefits & conditions
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Schedule: They need to be able to take on a shift on rotational basis during business hours between 4:00 am PT to 6:00pm PT or after-hours from 6:00pm PT to 4:00am PT / weekly. Hybrid.
