SAP Automation Consultant

Role: SAP FICO Consultant Financial Close (AI / Automation Focus) Location: India (Preferred) / Remote Role Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in financial closing (month-end / period-end close) and mandatory experience in AI / automation. The role focuses on accelerating financial close cycles using AI, moving beyond traditional manual and RPA-driven processes. Key Responsibilities Work on end-to-end financial closing processes (GL close, intercompany, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting) Analyze current manual close processes and identify optimization opportunities Design and implement AI-driven solutions for financial close acceleration Build PoCs / use cases leveraging AI/GenAI for finance Collaborate with finance, business, and technical teams Work in a multi-vendor environment alongside SAP and other partners Mandatory Skills Strong experience in SAP FICO Hands-on experience in month-end / financial closing processes

Do you have experience in SAP Finance & Controlling?, Proven exposure to AI / GenAI / intelligent automation Examples: Copilots, LLMs, AI-driven workflows, or similar Experience in process automation / optimization Good understanding of: GL, AP, AR Intercompany accounting Financial reporting Good to Have Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance Exposure to SAP AI (Joule) / SAP BTP AI services Experience with tools like Python, RPA, APIs, or workflow automation Experience in finance transformation programs Ideal Candidate SAP FICO consultant with strong financial close expertise Has worked on AI/automation use cases in finance or enterprise processes Able to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions Deliverables (High Level) Financial close process assessment AI/automation use case identification PoC for AI-enabled financial close
