Job description
Develops and promotes the overall vision, goals, strategies, and objectives for Application Support and Solutions development. Lead and coordinate the translation of business requirements to system requirements including functional specifications, use-cases and logical flow modeling, and reporting requirements. Serve as the primary business support liaison for the IT team, produce requirements and analysis artifacts that are designed for consumption by technical resources and ensure the accuracy of the technical implementation against the requirements., * Partner with the Business Systems owners to engage in supporting process changes and related system changes.
- Assist in the identification and development of workflow automation opportunities to increase efficiencies.
- Be the primary facilitator responsible for documenting and managing change to software requirements for a large-scale development project
- Work with the project team and stakeholders to fully document functional requirements and quality attributes of existing and new features of the system
- Develop requirements and analysis artifacts including use-cases, activity diagrams, user-interface schematics, business rules, technical specifications, process flows, and API documentation
- Assist project management with prioritization and tracking the implementation of system requirements
- Assist Business System owners in the development of user acceptance testing
- Be the primary support analyst for core business systems including NetSuite and Mavenlink
Requirements
Do you have experience in Visio?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree, CS or CIS preferred
- Must possess excellent communication skills, written and oral
- 3+ years experience eliciting system requirements including documentation of use-cases.
- 3+ years experience in supporting either NetSuite or Mavenlink
- Ability to proactively identify, report, and attack risks to project delivery using principles of iterative management
- Demonstrates strong technical aptitude and understanding of how technologies impact delivery
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to write unambiguous requirements that do not imply design
- Ability to effectively facilitate requirements gathering sessions, reviews and issue resolution involving multiple stakeholders
- Ability to enforce change control procedures to ensure requirements changes aren't ad hoc and are realized by the release team and stakeholders
- Functional understanding of system/platform architecture and relational databases
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Microsoft VISIO
- Must be results-oriented and self-motivated
