Job description
The Senior Manager, Business Systems serves as a key operational leader and business systems portfolio lead, focusing on the tactical execution and continuous evolution of the enterprise cloud-based business systems roadmap. This position partners with functional leaders across the enterprise to translate high-level company goals into actionable system strategies with a heavy emphasis on maximizing the Salesforce ecosystem. Also, this position is responsible for the hands-on oversight of implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-grade SaaS applications, security controls, and third-party integrations. The Senior Manager, Business Systems will develop a deep understanding of the business to design how cloud-native tools (such as Salesforce, Rootstock, and Avalara) integrate seamlessly to create a "Lead-to-Cash" engine. Lastly, this position will lead with a "scalability-first" mindset, building effective processes that ensure data integrity and provide the reliable insights necessary to support executive decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities: 1.Contributes to and executes prioritized business system roadmaps in partnership with leaders to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Facilitates discovery sessions with business teams to identify process bottlenecks and propose high-impact integration or automation solutions.

Monitors industry trends and emerging vendor capabilities, providing actionable recommendations to leadership on leveraging new technologies.

Oversees the full system development life-cycle (SDLC), including design, integration, and post-release monitoring, ensuring high-quality delivery across all business applications.

Proactively identifies and mitigates project risks, collaborating with peers to ensure iterative delivery of key capabilities without scope creep.

Liaises with IT, Legal, and Security to implement and maintain rigorous system controls and data privacy standards.

Leads technical evaluations/RFPs and manages ongoing vendor relationships and SLAs to ensure contractual performance.

Maintains comprehensive system documentation and process flows to ensure portfolio optimization, data integrity, and support for the enterprise data strategy.

Manages the demand intake and backlog grooming, working with stakeholders to balance "keep the lights on" fixes with high-value feature enhancements.

Coordinates with Architects and Business Intelligence to implement data governance best practices, ensuring that system changes remain scalable, secure, and reliable.

Leads technical resources (staff and subcontractors), providing hands-on leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality business systems.

Manages project performance, budget inputs, and headcount requirements, providing regular status updates and resource planning to senior leadership.

Provides coaching, counseling, succession planning, and performance feedback for the team.

Selects and maintains qualified personnel, recommends appropriate compensation levels, maintains appropriate personnel actions and development.

Maintains confidentiality of all information processed.
Performs related duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Operational business acumen. Roadmap execution and strategy support. Business process & data flow design. Enterprise business systems lifecycle management. Software development and delivery methodologies. Data integrity and governance. Tactical leadership. Active employee development. Change management. Advanced project management. Stakeholder communication., REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight years or more of experience managing enterprise-grade Cloud Software, with a primary focus on the Salesforce platform. Proven expertise in architecting and overseeing a complex integrated ecosystem including Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and Field Service Lightning.
PREFERRED: Demonstrated success in implementing, managing and optimizing specialized integrations within the Salesforce environment, specifically Rootstock (ERP), Avalara (Tax), Zenkraft (Shipping/Logistics), and related AppExchange solutions. Understanding of data flows and dependencies between these systems to ensure end-to-end process integrity from lead-to-cash.

- Health savings account, Compensation: The pay range for this position is $120,710 to $150,883 per year. May increase depending on the level of experience of the candiate.
