Job description

  • Define, develop, and evolve software engineering solutions in a fast paced lean/agile environment
  • Design robust software system architectures that align with multi-generational software framework and allows for future product expansion
  • Work closely with systems, application, marketing, service, clinical teams and customers in requirements gathering and systems design
  • Interact with global teams across GE Healthcare to maximize synergies across common software platform components
  • Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across all phases of software development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Experience in C++ and object orientated design methodologies in a Windows environment, * Medical device design and development experience desired
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget requirements
  • Embedded design and development experience desired
